LAS VEGAS - GEICO Honda rider Wil Hahn did exactly what he needed to do to wrap up the AMA 250SX East championship Saturday night at Sam Boyd Stadium, finishing one spot behind challenger Marvin Musquin to seal his first professional title by three points. Teammate Eli Tomac did everything he could to match the feat in 250SX West action, but his fifth victory of the season wasn't enough to pass Ken Roczen in the championship chase, with Tomac ultimately finishing two points back.

Red Bull KTM Factory rider Ken Roczen of Germany on Saturday night secured KTM’s first-ever 250SX championship when he was crowned the Monster Energy AMA West 250SX Champion at the season finale held at Sam Boyd Stadium. Roczen also won the 250 Shootout of top riders from both the West and East Coast competition.

Twin-Air-154520CNTwin Air developed a new Powerflow Kit with an increased surface area to increase airflow and optimise protection.

The New Twin Air Powerflow Kit (Part number 154520CN) contains an aluminum billet cage and  a large pre-oiled 15mm (Part Number 154520NX).

For an optimal airflow, we also have the Supercross type air filter available (Part Number 154520SCNX). This filter could be used when the riding conditions are optimal.

  1. Install the sealing ring behind the oem intake rubber in the airbox.
  2. Mount the filter onto the aluminum cage.
  3. Install the filter in the airbox. Because of the increased size of the cage/filter, you could bend the oem support arm into the correct position to prevent the tention in the filter holder.
  4. For extreme riding conditions, we advise the use of Grand Prix Covers for extra protection. This grand prix cover could be mounted over the filter and sealed at the sealing ring.


Mounting Airbox Vents
To create an optimal airflow into the air intake, we advice to modify the airbox by installing the Twin Air airbox vents . Mount the top of the vents 3 centimeters under the seat. The left side of the vents should be placed 15 centimeters from the front of the airbox.
