LAS VEGAS - GEICO Honda rider Wil Hahn did exactly what he needed to do to wrap up the AMA 250SX East championship Saturday night at Sam Boyd Stadium, finishing one spot behind challenger Marvin Musquin to seal his first professional title by three points. Teammate Eli Tomac did everything he could to match the feat in 250SX West action, but his fifth victory of the season wasn't enough to pass Ken Roczen in the championship chase, with Tomac ultimately finishing two points back.

Red Bull KTM Factory rider Ken Roczen of Germany on Saturday night secured KTM’s first-ever 250SX championship when he was crowned the Monster Energy AMA West 250SX Champion at the season finale held at Sam Boyd Stadium. Roczen also won the 250 Shootout of top riders from both the West and East Coast competition.

Torrance, CA American Honda announces today that Tommy Hahn will be filling in for Team Honda Muscle Milk’s Trey Canard throughout the entire 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series. Hahn will join Justin Brayton aboard a factory CRF450R for all 12 rounds of the nationals.

“For Honda to pick me is an amazing opportunity,” said Hahn. “It is a confidence booster knowing I have such great support from Team Honda Muscle Milk.”

The most successful Supercross season in the history of the GEICO Honda race team climaxed with a spectacular Saturday night at Sam Boyd Stadium that featured newly-crowned champions Justin Barcia and Eli Tomac earning big victories in their respective divisions before going 1-2 in the East/West Shootout.

Barcia's star shined brightest as he dominated the Lites East race from start to finish aboard his 250CRF, taking the holeshot and holding off all his rivals during the 15-lap main event.
